Kazan - is the city in Russia, capital of Tatarstan Republic. Population is a little bit more, than 1 million of inhabitants. City is situated on confluence of Kazanka river and Volga river. Since 2009 Kazan has got a right to promote itself, as the Third Capital of Russia.
City has a humid continental climate with long cold winter and warm, often hot dry summer.
Kazan has a single line underground (metro), train stations (rail terminal), International airport.
Best time to visit the Third Russian capital would be May-June and September-October.
